Another photo from the 1896 Delhian looking from Fountain St toward the rear of the 1894 bldg on Ransom. Since the newer building was west of the 1868 building, it shows the tower is on the SW corner rather than the SE corner.

Now Grandville Avenue near Cherry St SW, looking from the SW towards the NE. This photo also confirms that the tower was on the SW corner.

This is an early photo from the direction of Ransom Avenue looking East towards Barclay., Lyon Street is to the left, Fountain Street to the right..
1888 Sanborn confirms the tower was on the SW corner.
