Section 12 and part of Section 11.
This page erroneously shows the South Grand Rapids Improvement Company as all lying within the City of Grand Rapids. That area west
of Clyde Park was never in the City of Grand Rapids but is actually the City of
Wyoming today. In the mid-1960's, US 131 would become an expressway. The
State government used its "police powers" to usurp City right-of-ways which
still technically exist. This was a working class neighborhood surrounding
factories and railroad yards.

South Grand Rapids today
Cutler is cut off from Alice, beyond factories, to McKee
for US131
Kirtland is cut off From St. Charles beyond factories to McKee for US131
This next page includes the above area and more of Section 12 farther to the east
while excluding what would become City of Wyoming in the 1960's. The N 1/2
of Section 12 was annexed by the City of Grand Rapids in 1916.
